Joe's fascination with sculpture started at an early age, watching his dad (above) making strange gargoyles that covered the house inside and out.
His style has evolved over the last five years where he has experimented with different techniques, clays and subjects. He believes that all skills can be learnt and that enthusiasm, patience and a desire to create is more important than any ideas of natural talent. After discovering Pal Tiya Premium, a whole new world of possibilities has opened up which he looks forward to exploring. Joe's aim with his sculpture is simply to spark people's imagination and love of strange, surreal and magical ideas which we had as children but often lose as adults.
He now works alongside his dad in Stafford Sculpture Art Studio.

Heather is a sculptor, illustrator and wildlife painter living in Hampshire.
Inspired by nature and the magical stories of her childhood, she has been creating artwork from a very young age.
From paintings, drawings and illustrations, to Papier-mâché, ceramic and Polymer clay sculpture, Heather loves to explore and experiment with various art materials.
She has the strong belief that everyone is creative and can learn to draw, paint, and sculpt, and her aim through teaching is to help her students reconnect with their creativity and imagination, and help them believe that they too can create something to be proud of.
Throughout a mix of careers, culminating with working in special needs education, Ian has always maintained an artistic practice. 6 years ago he was able to pursue his creative ambition full time and in that time he has refurbished a canal side building and opened it as a gallery alongside working on his painting and caricature commissions.
Ian is looking forward to teaching people how to bring their art to life by using Pal Tiya Premium to move from 2D to 3D!
HEATHER 'KYA' STEVENSON-SMITH
Creative life always took the form of hobbies over the years trying everything from sketching to cross-stitch to decoupage until 4 years ago when Heather decided, with the support of her husband, on a complete working lifestyle change. It was her opportunity to delve headfirst into life as a full-time mixed media artist using modelling paste and embellishments.
Heather has always been passionate about creating, it sparks that fire in her belly.
Over the last 4 years Heather's become increasingly excited about sculpting, using mostly polymer clays but also apoxie sculpting clay, paperclay, paper mache and even fabrics!
She started sculpting embellishments out of fimo for my mixed media projects and fell in love with it. There is something so satisfying in creating something from a block of clay.
Her desire to go outside and bigger, without the need of a kiln, lead her straight to the magical Pal Tiya Premium and since then her head has been just bursting with projects she want to create!
