Eye-Opening Applications

Pal Tiya Premium is a fabulous product for outdoor sculptures, they last in all weather conditions from the coldest days to the sunniest and everything in between. Pal Tiya Premium was designed to be the best possible free hand exterior sculpting material. It is robust and dynamic for weight bearing artworks, however, it can also be used as a thin decorative coat on larger pieces such as 3D printed objects, milled foam cores requiring detailed and/or weatherproof surfaces. Here are examples of lightweight skins for decorative indoor and outdoor applications.

This is for a great use case for interior/exterior signs, displays, artworks, resalable props, museum replicas, etc

Chris from Hatch Exhibits posted this awesome 66" Moai sculpture below which they produced on their state-of-the-art Massivit 5000 3D printer! 🗿. He says "we've taken it one step further by applying our durable Pal Tiya concrete coating, making it the perfect addition to any outdoor space. The Pal Tiya coating not only enhances the sculpture's weatherproof capabilities, but also gives it a beautifully textured, natural stone-like finish. This allows the Moai to seamlessly blend into any landscape, whether placed in a garden, park, or public plaza."

As the printed sculpture essentially had its own natural scratch coat surface, as you watch the video below, you'll see how it was applied over this with ease.

We look forward to using it on another project in the future! It’s a great product and option to have for things when we need to be able to use them outside. - Chris from Hatch Exhibits

Our sculpting medium is great as it is:
  • Non-structural, thinner skin/lighter weight pieces
  • Fabulous at sticking to 3-D printed/foam cores
  • Perfect for Outdoor conditions (fully weatherproof)
  • Light duty, decorative (not for climbing) on pieces
  • An alternative to nasty fiberglass
  • Heat resistant/does not burn

Blacksmith uses Pal Tiya Premium for Forges

There have been tests done, however not by us, which show Pal Tiya Premium can come into contact with fire for some time with no adverse effects on the medium.
Pal Tiya Premium is not a refractory mortar.
Josh Weston is a blacksmith who is using our product very successfully making forges look like dragon heads, and applying our product to the metal armature, as seen in the videos below.
The Giant man and Giant Hares were both built as private commissions for a private garden. You can click on the images below to read about these builds.
