Assyrian Warhorse Sculpture
It was Christmas 2018 when our Creative Director Kim Beaton and a few friends decided to undertake a sculpting project: an Assyrian Warhorse inspired sculpture using modern materials: cardboard, foam, tinfoil and then detailed with Pal Tiya Premium to enable this gorgeous piece to stay outdoor permanently.
The project used just 3 and a half Standard Sized bags of Pal Tiya Premium (40lb per bag) and to weight it down, they poured 60lbs of just normal concrete into the base so it stands proud.
The piece had genuine brass fittings made by the talented Christopher Menges and the final shots were taken by him.
Big thanks to Steven Saunders, Cassandra Lopez and Chris Menges for their hard work on this sculpture and for the beautiful final photographs.
