With so much going on in the world that often make our heads spin, we thought we would have a little fun. We asked over on Facebook and the answer was a resounding yes! So first the juicy stuff and then the rules :) The Theme is HALLOWEEN and to keep it fair you can use no more than 1.36kg (a small bag) or less of Pal Tiya Premium. You can make quite a lot with this amount. Possible ideas ~ · Pumpkins...obviously · Witches, Hats · Scary Cats · Spiders, bats · Haunted Houses · Ghosts and Ghouls · Coffins, skulls Your final sculpture can either be painted, stained or au natural- this is entirely up to you! Bonus points go to people who provide progress shots throughout the competition or at the end with their submission! PRIZES

So let us know your thoughts guys :) The Pal Tiya Crew  Class participants being creative with tinfoil and Pal Tiya Premium! As humans have a need to make things with their own hands. The act of creating something with our own hands is enjoyable, satisfying, expressive and commemorative. People have been creating art for thousands of years since prehistoric times.
The first forms of art are found in caves in Europe, such as in the Altamira Caves in Spain and the Lascaux Caves in France. Since then, man has continued to carve, paint, draw...it is what makes us human. People want to make things for other people that mean something. Making a gift that someone could put in a garden and visit for years to come has a special magic. As the gift ages with the seasons, it becomes something more lovely and poignant. This is a subtle nuance, but it is unique to us as a species. Pal Tiya Premium allows us to make something meaningful that gives us pleasure creating it and will give pleasure for years to come. As some of you might know, we are recording interviews right now for our upcoming podcast. The podcast will centre around the CreAtivE journey and focus on creation and inspiration. How people got into this world in the first place and techniques they use and more about their own creative journey. We've been interviewing all types of creative folk and having some really nice and inspirational chats about the whole creative process and journey, the future and more. We do discuss Pal Tiya Premium BUT you don't need to have used our product to be featured on our podcast! The US competition runs from 10th September until 10th October and your 3lb or less sculptures should be made between these dates for fairness! The theme is Fairy Tale and it can be your unique interpretation of that... We will of course give bonus points to those who document their progress along the way. UK and Aus will be next on our agenda for a competition so you guys can show them what you can achieve :) Go grab your bag now! Possible ideas ~ · Anthropomorphic animals · Guardians (fairy godmothers, mentors, magical helpers, etc.) · Monsters (dragons, ogres, evil creatures, etc.) · Keys, passes (opening new doors) · Organic (mushrooms, toadstools, trees) Your final sculpture can either be painted, stained or au natural- this is entirely up to you! When you think fairy tale, you think, “children.” But pay close attention to the stories and you will see bigger meanings meant not just for children. PRIZE The First prize is 1 X 44lb bag of Pal Tiya Premium and a Pro Plus Italian ornamental sculpting tool shipped to your house. The Second Prize is 1 X 3lb Bag of Pal Tiya Premium shipped to your house.
