WE HAD SO MANY GREAT ENTRIES TO THIS YEAR'S USA HALLOWEEN COMPETITION!!!
It was a tough decision but The Pal Tiya Crew judged the entries based on concept originality, technical skills, and execution.
We are thrilled to announce the WINNER of 80lbs of Pal Tiya Premium outdoor sculpting medium is going to Barrett Dodds of Oakshire Oddities in North Carolina!!!

Pumpkin Man was made using 30lbs of Pal Tiya Premium and we think you'll agree that the technical difficulty of creating this sort of sculpture is extraordinary. The concept, scale, and execution is remarkable. Just the right mix of fun and horror for Halloween!
Barrett says "I wanted to find a cast iron or aluminum pole but I didn't have the patience for it so he is attached to a wood newel post from Lowe's. The type of post on a stair case."
Barrett is already getting a whole load of interest in this piece and many people asking for one!
We would like to mention this was Barrett's first ever solo project using our medium.

We would also like to congratulate Sarah Bakker from Indiana. She placed 2 entries into the competition and we loved them both but her Ugly Rocks with eyes and teeth are simple, but astonishingly effective. These rocks are a strong concept, sharply made and beautifully painted to a great final effect. Nicely creepy!
